I've cleanup the patch a little, but the result is lackluster:

$ ldd /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/lcdproc/lis.so
linux-vdso.so.1 (0x00007ffcefdec000)
libftdi1.so.2 => /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libftdi1.so.2
(0x00007f2c4ba9f000)
libusb-1.0.so.0 => /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libusb-1.0.so.0
(0x00007f2c4b886000)
libusb-0.1.so.4 => /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libusb-0.1.so.4
(0x00007f2c4b67c000)
libpthread.so.0 => /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libpthread.so.0
(0x00007f2c4b45f000)
libdl.so.2 => /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libdl.so.2 (0x00007f2c4b25b000)
libc.so.6 => /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libc.so.6 (0x00007f2c4aeb6000)
libudev.so.1 => /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libudev.so.1
(0x00007f2c4ae96000)
/lib64/ld-linux-x86-64.so.2 (0x0000561e30095000)
librt.so.1 => /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/librt.so.1 (0x00007f2c4ac8e000)

lis.so is linked to both libusb-1.0 and libusb-0.1 (libftd1 is linked to
libusb-1.0).

I would be surprised if this works.

This issue reminds me of another request made by Debian: switch from libusb
to libusb1 [1]

Does someone knows how to do this ?

Without a solution, I'll have to disable drivers based on usb from Debian's
lcdproc.

All the best
