Hi again,

additionally here is an example configuration (LCDd.conf) for LCD2USBsed
with a Wintek 27x4 (Pollin) display connected:

# LCDd.conf -- configuration file for the LCDproc server daemon LCDd

[server]
#DriverPath=/usr/lib/lcdproc/
DriverPath=/sandbox/LCDproc/lcdproc-CVS-current-20100205/server/drivers/

[menu]
MenuKey=Menu
EnterKey=Enter

RightKey=Right

[Wintek-LCD2USB]
File=hd44780.so
ConnectionType=lcd2usb
Keypad=yes
Contrast=750
Brightness=500
OffBrightness=0
Backlight=no
OutputPort=no
Extendedmode=no
Delaymult=1
Delaybus=false
Size=27x4
vSpan=2,2
Charmap=hd44780_default

KeyMatrix_2_3=Enter
KeyMatrix_1_2=Up
KeyMatrix_1_1=Down

Be aware, that the keypad is supported by the actual CVS version of
LCDproc. Earlier versions (e.g. the testing target 5.0.3-2 of Debian)
will work, but without keypad support.

Regards, Thorsten
