I'm all in favor of fixes, but I'd like to see the project get caught
up to the point of new drivers (since I just wrote one).

Very much agreed. The MtxOrb.c that ships with 0.5.2 is really
broken. I've lost count of the number of folks I've helped in the
past two years.
