I will try lcdproc on this device to see if it works, it is slightly
different than the prototype one that I had earlier....

Hi Guys!
Don't know what you're thinking about it but i'm really argued about the
thing that LCDproc will not work with Freebsd in any way, First a bus
error, after searchinf for abou 4 hours i found a solution to solve the
Bus error, so i got the error HD44780-Invalied driver or driver not
found, and i don't know how to solve this problem. Why can't the
programmers just fix this? *make install clean* shouldn't be that
difficult to realize. There are many programs which work this way and
once you've installed them they WORK- not the LCDproc so what should i
do to get it working? i am not a programmer and so don't tell me to take
the linux code for $DRIVER and put it $PLACE and rewrite the $ANY -
part!

P.S. even the download to the Thomas Ruge site on the main site of lcd
proc doesn't worc and he told me that he had never written sth like
this....
