Hello,
just to let know to the Lcdproc community (most of them looking for the MP3
solution
with IR/LCD/... that the IRMP3 client is moving...
A new home,
a new mailing list,
a new version (-pre for development)
a new maintainer with more time to spend.

Hello!
As Andreas mentioned in his earlier email, IRMP3 now has a new homepage at
http://www.dpotter.com/irmp3
The mailing list is now accessible at
irmp3 AT dpotter.com
. I am pretty
sure that we smoothly coordinated the transfer of all existing mailing
list members to the new site.
I'm pleased to be associated with the IRMP3 project, and I hope to be able
to further develop it, support it, and advocate its use.
Please feel free to contact me at
dp-irmp3 AT dpotter.com
. I'd love to hear
stories about how you use IRMP3, what features you'd like to see added,
troubles and successes you've had.
I personally run IRMP3 on my server/firewall computer which lives in the
basement of my house. My speakers and infrared receiver are installed
in my bedroom, where I listen to most of my music.
IRMP3 is my stereo, my alarm clock and soon to be my radio and news
anchor.
I currently live in San Jose, California, where I am a consultant who
specializes in large-scale network design, primarily in the broadcast
industry.
David Potter
PS: Thanks, Andreas, for making me feel welcome.
