Thanks, I'll test it.
I've already written a device driver for my lcd+keypad.
Maybe I'll write a driver for lcdproc that reads/writes to /dev/lcd.

BTW: I'll write a similar driver for my T6963 LCD+keypad
It can do 16*16 text and 128*128 graphics + up to 40 keys.
T6963 based LCDs can do max. 80*32 text or 640*256
graphics.
